Biography
Zeng Qianyang is a composer specializing in orchestral music, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Screen Scoring at New York University, with graduation expected in 2025. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University, along with a minor in Musical Engineering and Technology. Zeng's musical journey began at age six with classical piano lessons. In his second year of college, he received formal training in music composition from Mr. Xie Peng at the Central Conservatory of Music. He has a keen interest in studying the scores of Impressionist and early 20th-century artists. Inspired by Japanese anime and Disney cartoons, Zeng developed a passion for film, TV and video game music and explored various genres. He is currently on a quest to find his unique voice as a storyteller in music and to express himself through his compositions.
