Oscar Javierre, born into a lineage of jazz musicians, is a composer, producer, and sound designer driven by a passion for exploring three-dimensional sonic universes. With a childhood fascination for synthesizer sounds, he embarked on a diverse musical journey, from being a freelance musician in various bands to creating Splatterpunk—an EBM and Electroclash project that gained international recognition in specialized circles. A while back, as a vinyl DJ, Oscar captivated audiences with his immersive sonic landscapes.
Venturing into cosmic techno with their project, ORYX 9, he crafted captivating compositions influenced by the Detroitian heritage, releasing on the esteemed label 30D Records. Their expertise extends to being an A&R for 30D Records, showcasing their keen understanding of sonic aesthetics and talent curation.
Today, Oscar works as a composer and producer for film, TV, video games, and commercials. He is a member of TAXI A&R Services and has enrolled in the prestigious Cinematic Composing Momentum program. Among his musical mentors in the program are Christopher Young (known for 'Spiderman 3', 'Hellraiser', 'Drag Me To Hell', etc.), Marc Jovani (with credits on Netflix, NBC, FOX, Lionsgate, etc.), and Javier Navarrete (nominated for an Oscar for the score of 'Pan's Labyrinth', etc.)
Currently, he has several albums in the works, some of them in collaboration with renowned artists, and these will be published across various Music Libraries. In parallel, he continues his relentless pursuit of learning to expand his musical horizons into the unknown, seamlessly combining this knowledge with the unique cultural experiences amassed throughout a lifetime devoted to music.
