About Marcus Hart

Marcus is a multifaceted musician and artist currently pursuing a degree in Music for New Media at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Academically intersecting music, technology, and sound within his studies, Marcus pushes to imbue all of his work with a creative, positive spirit.

Constantly inspired and in awe of nature, Marcus frequently spends time exploring the outdoors. In his quiet moments, he often attempts to forge connections with the animals he encounters and utilizing these experiences within his compositional process. This interest in the organic world intertwines with Marcus' 

Beyond his work as a composer, Marcus furthers his artistic endeavors studying oil painting, dance, saxophone, and piano. Regardless of the exploration, he is committed to a journey of constant learning, collaboration, and self-expression.
