Biography
"One day, I was driving him to school like I always did. I was listening to 'Smooth Criminal' by Alien Ant Farm over the radio. I turned around to check on him and I see Collin, sitting there in his car seat, head-banging out of control like it's his favorite song. He was 4 years old."

Born in a small town outside of Chicago, Illinois, Collin has always been drawn to sounds like a moth to a flame. Having already worked with clients around the world (i.e. USA, Costa Rica, Peru, etc.), Collin possesses an ironclad passion for collaboration and storytelling through his work with dialogue, sound effects, foley, and music. Collin is thrilled to have served several roles spanning production and post-production audio for multiple independent and studio-backed projects including various films, video games, television series, web miniseries, podcasts, theatrical productions, and concerts.
Aside from freelancing, Collin is the supervisor of Violet Sound Productions, a production sound company that operates across New York and New Jersey. As Lead Live Sound Engineer, Lead Sound Designer, and Technical Manager at Waves & Staves, Collin regularly builds and operates Pro Tools sessions for score production and sculpts soundtracks for films, video games, and more.
When he's away from his studio, you can find Collin teaching (check out Music To Your Home if you're interested in receiving private lessons!), podcasting (check out Unknown Regions Podcast and Decoding Devs on your preferred streaming service!), drumming, writing poetry, watching a movie or an episode from his favorite series, or spending time with his family.
