Nathalie Bonin is an award-winning Canadian/American composer and virtuoso violinist whose music moves between cinematic scale, intimate emotion and bold contemporary energy. Netflix audiences have already heard her work in the official trailers for Bridgerton Season 3 and The Decameron, as well as in the Season 2 finale of Bridgerton. Her musical voice—expressive strings, rhythmic propulsion and richly layered hybrid production—is shaped by the rare perspective of an artist who is equally at home composing, orchestrating, producing and performing.

Named SOCAN Screen Composer of the Year and honored with a SESAC Film Performance Award, Bonin is also a composer and violinist on the GRAMMY®-winning project Women Warriors: The Voices of Change, which additionally received the Society of Composers & Lyricists Jury Prize. Her screen credits include music for Apple TV+’s The Oprah Conversations, NBC’s New Amsterdam, CBS’s Good Sam and five Hallmark films. Her work has earned the Mark Award for Best Classical Composition and an HMMA Award for Best Instrumental.

A classically trained musician with the instincts of a modern storyteller, Bonin has recorded original albums at Abbey Road Studios and Synchron Stage Vienna. As a performer, she has appeared with artists ranging from Wynton Marsalis and Luciano Pavarotti to Stevie Wonder, Cirque du Soleil and Deadmau5, and served eight seasons as concertmaster of Canada’s televised music competition La Voix. That breadth gives her music an unusual combination of orchestral authority, visceral performance energy and immediate emotional clarity.

Bonin is also the creator and artistic director of QOR, an evolving multidisciplinary experience uniting live music, spatial sound, biometrics and responsive media. Whether writing for the screen, recording stage or immersive environment, she creates music designed not simply to accompany a story, but to make its emotional world unforgettable.
