Biography
MELQUI ALVAREZ is a young screen composer, music producer, violinist and artist
whose talents have resonated across continents.
With a prestigious BMI Award received at Berklee College of Music in 2023, 4 feature
films (one in European festivals, another reaching N°3 Box Office in Central
America and N°1 in Costa Rica - with over 40.000 spectators in the first 10 days of
its release-), millions of plays across his most recent productions (working
with artists and international camps from major labels like Interscope, Warner and
Universal), 3 commissioned symphonic pieces (one performed in the legendary
Alfredo Kraus auditorium, another in Boston, and the first with over 400 attendees),
ownership of POISONOUS (a concert organizing agency leading the Bass Music
Scene in Madrid), and performances as a DJ at festivals with crowds of over
40.000 people; Melqui strives to reach the Hollywood scene and develop his
production career at 25 years of age.
