


Julia Henderson is a Toronto-born soprano, multi-instrumentalist, composer/arranger, voice over artist, and audio engineer. With a Bachelor's in Classical Voice Performance, and a Master’s degree in Music Technology and Digital Media, Julia combines her skills to take an interdisciplinary approach to media: from creation, through to recording, and full post-production and distribution.
As a Recording Artist, Julia has been featured on video games such as Vampire Survivors, has performed on 26 albums, released three officially-licensed solo EPs, and has published over 70 music videos on YouTube. Since 2017, Julia has been nominated eight times for the Game Music Remix Awards (GMRA) in various musical genre categories. In 2019, she won best arrangement in both the Hybrid and Vocal categories.
As an Audio Engineer, Julia has been working closely with Joe Zieja (Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Genshin Impact) since 2021, and has worked with other artists such as The Frame Defect, insaneintherainmusic, Erika Harlacher, Samantha Ballard, and Laura Platt. Additionally, she has regular work mixing, sound editing, and consulting for video games and other media. She is especially proud of her recent work as a dialogue editor on the VR horror game Broken Spectre which was nominated for "Best Dialogue in an Indie Game" at the 2024 Game Audio Network Guild Awards.
As a Composer/Sound Designer, Julia has experience working in many areas of media, including film, animation, games, and web. Currently, she works with Toronto-based studio Singfisher Games who recently released the puzzle game "Daily Akari". She is also working on other unnanounced video games and media projects behind the scenes, including an album of original vocal music.
