Anna Fiori was born on May 29th 1991 in Mexico City, and has be come one of the most acclaimed metal singers in Latin America.

Metztli is the most ambitious album of her entire musical career. It is not just a symphonic metal album; it is a cinematic Aztec metal experience.

Mostly organic and 100% human-produced in the rising era of artificial intelligence, you will hear truly cinematic and orchestral arrangements by Jorge Salmay, known for his work on Hollywood series and films, as well as the honorable participation of Agustín García Reyes, master craftsman of pre-Hispanic instruments. You will listen to modern, powerful metal made with a true passion for music.

Anna proposes to go far beyond an internationally qualified artistic work, taking us on a journey through loss, uniting Western and Nahua worldviews in this musical epic journey, which will also be featured in the artist’s first published book in 2027. This work is supported by her studies in music therapy and psychology and seeks to help others go through their own grief processes.

Metztli is the goddess of the Moon, and just like her, life presents itself as a cycle of multiple phases and nuances. The music and the book will feature translations by David Cayetano Tlatoanitsin, spokesperson for the Huasteca Potosina indigenous community.
