
James is an innovative sound designer from New York City with over 15 years experience as an audio professional for video games and film. James has worked as a freelancer with Serial Lab Sound, contributing voice overs, sound effects and music compositions to video games and films such as Eternights, Cryptid, and Adventure Time. He earned a master's in music from New York University, and an MFA in sound design at SCAD in Savannah. In 2023, James did sound design and sound editing on the the independent feature film , Cryptid, which won Best film at the Adirondack film festival and Best Action/Thriller at the San Francisco Hole in the Head film festival. In 2024, James recorded and mastered all the dialogue for the SONY indie game, Eternights, which was nominated for Best Game Audio at GDC. And in 2026, James was nominated for an MPSE Golden Reel for supervising sound on the short film, Damned. James is also a guitar player, synth programmer, and game audio implementer. When he's not designing intriguing sound, James is biking, gaming, or cooking ramen.
