My passion for sound lies in capturing the raw, the imperfect, and the deeply human. I love layering textures and pushing sonic boundaries to create immersive, emotionally rich experiences that bring stories—and worlds—to life.
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, I’ve been surrounded by musicians and producers for as long as I can remember. I got my first guitar at age seven, and by the time I graduated high school, I had a decade of lessons under my belt and a growing fascination with the world of sound beyond music—especially the immersive experience of cinema and video games.
I studied Music & Sound Recording at the University of York, where I dove deep into recording techniques, music production, orchestration, and mixing. My final project at York—scoring a new soundtrack for the 1922 film Nosferatu—was when I truly started to hone my skills in storytelling through sound. I later earned a Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music, specializing in audio post-production, sound design, and game audio using tools like FMOD and Wwise.
I’ve worked across a wide range of roles, including sound designer, recording/mixing/mastering engineer, composer, producer, and studio assistant. From leading live sessions and album recordings with AudioArena Originals and developing new talent through our Venture Hits initiative to my current role assisting at Greystoke Studio under producer Andy Whitmore, I’ve always chased projects that challenge me creatively. Some highlights include working with Republica (Brazil), Vaquelin (UK), and producing the Harry Moon and the Cardboard Rocket session at The Nave in Leeds.
My creative approach is organic and layered. I work best in bursts of inspiration, allowing ideas to evolve over time, often embracing imperfections to create something raw, human, and emotionally rich. I’m inspired by the world around me—whether it’s the busy wall of sound of the city life, the calm ensemble of nature, or the crazy high fantasy media I consume.
I’m open to freelance, studio, or in-house work. My goal is to build a long-term career in sound for film, TV, and games—collaborating with people who are just as passionate about audio storytelling as I am. I also have a personal passion for audiobooks and hope to one day bring a story to life through sound and voice, blending my love of reading with my skills in immersive production.
Oh, and outside the studio, I play chess at a high level and have practised multiple martial arts (though I’m better with faders than fists).
