When a young couple moves into their dream home, Emma begins to experience terrifying visions and inexplicable attacks that her husband Jake dismisses as stress and sleep paralysis. As Emma's reality unravels and their relationship fractures under the weight of disbelief, the couple must confront a sinister presence that feeds on Emma's isolation. Blending psychological horror with supernatural suspense, Belief explores the chilling line between mental fragility and haunting-and the desperate fight to be heard before it's too late.
This film has supernatural elements, but is fundamentally about the relationship between two people. The score needed to have the range to reflect their lighter moments, moments of tension and isolation from one another—and of course, moments of sheer terror.
