Nicolás Bedoya is a composer and multi-instrumentalist specializing in original music for film, theater, and video games, with an approach that blends Colombian musical traditions with advanced technology. He was awarded a scholarship for the Master’s in Film and Video Game Scoring at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has created digital orchestrations and arrangements for streaming series such as “Higuita, El camino de la escorpión” for Netflix, and has developed additional music and virtual instruments for documentaries and films on streaming platforms.

He also composed and produced the original score for the feature film “El Arte de Insistir,”  His experience includes composition assistance for projects such as “El árbol de la abundancia” with the Bogotá Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as creating music for award-winning and internationally nominated short films like “FICUS.”
He is the founder and director of Compositorio, a collective of composers for film and theater, and has taught in various institutions.
