Biography

George Streicher is a composer based in Los Angeles, California, known for his work across film, television, and video games.

Born into a musical family—his mother a concert flutist and his father an amateur musician—he was introduced to music early, taking piano and voice lessons, and participating in high school bands and middle school orchestras. Initially pursuing filmmaking, George often scored his own projects, which led him to transition into music composition professionally.

George has studied music with Berklee College of Music and with numerous mentors.

His film credits include composing the score for Tubi's Corrective Measures, an action-packed thriller starring Bruce Willis and Michael Rooker. In television, George contributed music to animated series such as Nickelodeon's The Smurfs and Cartoon Network's Apple & Onion. He also composed music for the video game Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, enhancing its immersive experience.

In 2022, George released Music of the Macabre, an orchestral Halloween album that combines traditional themes with original compositions, reflecting his deep appreciation for the genre. His musical style ranges from sweeping, orchestral scores to more intimate and textural pieces.
