Biography

Evan Michael Hart is a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist specializing in film score. While his musical roots began with the drum set, his toolkit also includes marimba, bass guitar, keyboards, piano, and anything else he can get his hands on. His work spans film scores to hip-hop, rock, electronic, and funk, often blending these influences in unexpected ways.

Evan’s inspiration comes from a lifetime surrounded by music - classic rock, Motown, funk, R&B, jazz, breakbeats, and classical - often making music alongside his father. From an early age, music was an essential language for expression. Today, he thrives in exploring deep grooves, experimental sounds, and off-kilter vibes, always seeking new ways to tell stories through music.

In addition to composing and performing, Evan also teaches music to middle and high school students.
