Will’s work for film is rooted in emotional clarity and story-led scoring, using music to deepen atmosphere, tension, and character while serving the picture.
In 2025, Will scored the short film Elise, collaborating closely with director Ayomide Adesanya on a subtle, emotionally driven score. The film has screened at festivals and marked the beginning of an ongoing creative partnership.
He also composed the score for Corpsing, directed by Katie Devereux — a short film that has screened internationally, including festival selections in the USA and India, with further recognition from platforms such as Brightlight New York and East Village Indie Short Magazine. Will’s score plays a central role in shaping the film’s tone and emotional pacing.
Alongside this work, Will composed the music for My Darling, My Blood, a dark, atmospheric short supported by Screen Scotland and Abertay University, and The Russian Thistle, further demonstrating his ability to adapt his musical language to different narrative worlds.
Will is currently attached as composer on Reverie, a forthcoming short film by director Ayomide Adesanya, now in post-production.
In 2024, Will scored the short film Drawn In, writing music to support a pivotal dramatic scene.
In addition to short films, Will has contributed to longer-form screen projects, including scoring a scene for the Hallmark Channel film Christmas in Scotland. His involvement extended beyond composing, with an on-screen appearance as a pianist in the ballroom scene.
