David Myles Lewis is a versatile and accomplished composer and producer for visual media. He has written music for networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Bravo, FOX, USA, PBS, BET and Paramount + as well as companies such as Cadillac, Dropbox, GAP, Vogue, Peroni, Edwin, Teen Vogue, and more.
David recently finished scoring "Jack and Lou" starring Lisa Kudrow, and has worked in the music department for several noteworthy projects, including "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (Netflix) "The Kissing Booth 3" (Netflix) "No Ordinary Life" (CNN) and "Held" (Magnolia Pictures).
Lewis is an in demand composer at Burnett Music where his music has been featured in shows such as Survivor, The Real Love Boat, Temptation Island, Buy My House, Claim to Fame, and wrote the Main Title Theme for Generation Gap (ABC) hosted by Kelly Ripa and produced by Mark Burnett and Jimmy Kimmel. His compositions have earned him an American Advertising Award and a student BAFTA nomination. David is well known for creating atmospheric soundscapes and high intensity action music with a unique percussive flavor.
In addition to scoring, David is a highly sought-after drummer and percussionist. After a decade of performing and touring, David was drawn to the world of music production and film scoring. He co-wrote and produced Madame Gandhi’s “Waiting for Me” which won best music video at SXSW 2021.
David is a remarkably intuitive and expressive storyteller, utilizing a vast repertoire, influenced by Indian classical music, African percussion, jazz, pop, and modern electronic music.
