Biography

As a Texas-born and -raised bandleader, singer/songwriter, classically trained pianist, and composer first educated in composition and orchestration at Columbia University under Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Moravec, followed by a stint studying film scoring in the UCLA Extension program, Edward "Tex" Miller combines a love of many musical genres—from ambient techno, to bebop, to power pop—in presenting an altogether compelling, individual musical voice.

Over the last several years, Miller has written music for a wide variety of purposes, ranging from dramatic and comedic features and short films; to award-winning podcasts; to custom libraries for television production. His music has appeared in work for the Audubon Society, REI, Bunim & Murray, and Penguin Random House, among others.
