Biography

Brandon K Rivera is an accomplished award-winning film composer based in Los Angeles, CA. A musician of over 18 years, he has spent many years perfecting his craft. He holds a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Theory & Composition, and has a great deal experience in performing and composing for media.

He has had the pleasure of studying film scoring with some of the biggest names in the industry: Bruce Broughton, Jim Dooley, Gerard Marino, and more. Over the course of his career, his music and projects he’s scored have been seen and heard in theaters all over the world; New York, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and most notably, the Cannes Film Festival in France. His music has also been heard on television as well, being featured in national advertisements and major motion picture trailers.

He’s also had the pleasure of being a part of the music team for many big studio productions, such as Marvel’s Inhumans, working at Hans Zimmer’s studio Remote Control Productions, and assisting Dominic Lewis on the score for the feature film “Money Monster” Starring George Clooney. Most recently, he's done work for The Grammys, doing arranging and orchestrations.

When he’s not writing music, you can find him either powerlifting, trying to break 100 at a golf course, or getting mad at sports teams.
