Marlon Feld is a composer for film and media whose work draws on a deep background in music theory and a wide-ranging ear — from late Romantic harmony to experimental electronics. He brings a dramaturgical approach to scoring: music that reveals what's underneath the onscreen action. He is currently developing scores for independent short films and is the creator of FELD, an electronic project built from deconstructed classical piano music, a retrofitted 1893 typewriter, and hand-gesture-controlled live processing.
