Barton Kaye (locally known as Bart Ketelaere) is a versatile and accomplished composer for film and primetime TV, based near Ghent, Belgium. With a rich musical background, he studied composition and orchestration for film and TV at LUCA School of Arts Leuven, Musicians Institute (Los Angeles), and Berklee College of Music.

Driven by his passion for cinema, Barton further honed his craft at the Hollywood Music Workshop with legendary orchestrator Conrad Pope and Emmy Award-winning composer Mark Watters and was selected as a fellow for the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive, mentored by A-list professionals Blake Neely, William Ross, Jeff Russo, and Angel Velez. These experiences led him to conduct the National Orchestra of Costa Rica, premiering his piece Be Brave to two sold-out audiences. He also recorded and conducted his "Sunrise Suite" with the Hollywood Studio Symphony at the WarnerEastwood Scoring Stage in Burbank, LA and his piece "A Brave Hallow's Eve” with the Synchron Stage Orchestra in Vienna.

With over 20 years of experience as an primetime composer for Belgium’s largest TV networks, Barton has composed more than 250 TV themes and scored over 400 episodes across diverse genres, including drama, comedy, and children's series. His work has been broadcast in over 70 countries, and the award-winning series Tik Tak—featuring his original music and custom-built instruments—has been showcased on BBC. Barton recently composed scores for The Birth of a Hysterical Woman and Lifecoach, which have been showcased at multiple film festivals, the animation short "A Brave Hallow's Eve" (a symphonic poem) and the primetime series "Interview with History" for VRT.
