
Nick Coetzee has been composing and producing music for over 30 years. He is the founder and CEO of Rain Music, a recording and production studio, operating out of Tampa, Florida.
Nick is an award winning multi-instrumentalist who captures rich musical textures perfect for the cinematic experience. His emotive landscapes transport the listener and point to the film's narrative. His provocative melodies create meaningful and appropriate atmospheres to underscore the scene.
In the mid 90's Nick composed and produced the music score for 250 episodes of "Paradise Beach," an Australian TV drama series airing in 20 countries. Nick produced the first version of the worldwide hit, "Shout to the Lord," for Hillsong Australia. He also composed, produced and performed the halftime music for an international rugby match against South Africa.
For many years, Nick composed and produced the theme song for the prestigious "Vision Awards" for RP International in Los Angeles. He performed the song with an international children’s choir for some of the most prolific artists, producers and directors in the world.
Currently Nick scores for feature films, television series, and documentaries. Recent credits include "The Legend of Kate Kensington," "The Journey to Mt. Sinai Part Two," and "Kids' Beach Club." Projects in production include, "The Sound Mind Series," "Eating with the Enemy," and "The Beast of Trinity Texas."
