IZZIE BANNISTER writes, performs, and records original music that melts R&B, jazz, and singer-songwriter sensibilities together. The Chapel Hill native, now honing her craft at Berklee College of Music in Boston, exhibits a vulnerability through her artistry that is born out of the comfort of knowing yourself. Her lyrical approach is equal parts playful and raw, a testament to her emotional honesty. She sings with intuitive freedom and breathes spontaneity and curiosity into each song. Onstage, this fluidity becomes conversation and she and her band respond to each other with instinctive chemistry. In the studio, she channels this live energy into something permanent, immortalizing the magic. Currently, Izzie is lovingly incubating her debut album.
