Biography

Tamer Khalil, a Saudi multidisciplinary composer and pianist, blending his passion for music, art, and architecture to write inspired story driven musical compositions. Working with multiple Saudi Game Studios on music and sound design, he is the 1st place winner of the international Indie Game Music Contest 2025. Tamer had represented and showcased his work at the 2025 World Expo at Osaka as a multidisciplinary Composer/Artist to represent the Saudi Arabian Pavilion under the Ministry of Culture. Tamer is internationally trained through the Red Sea Film Festival Labs in composing for film, motion picture and video game music taught by globally renowned composers such as Simon Franglen, composer of the movie “Titanic” and “Avatar: way of the water”. He won the Best Music Award at the Riyadh Theater Festival 2024. With the Film Commission he was selected for the Kader program to work with renowned French studio Cercle Rouge known for working on global blockbusters such as “John Wick 4” and Saudi movies such as “Mandoob Al Lel”. He is a member of the Saudi National Orchestra and an emerging composer and pianist, he studied with internationally acclaimed concert pianists such as Lang Lang and performed his own works along with them. Some of Tamer's catalogued works include the Saudi film "90 Days" (Netflix) and Saudi series "Doon" (Viu).He also composes for cultural institutions “Central Jeddah Development” and leads workshops at “Al Balad” and more.
