WHO AM I?

Hello Hello! I'm Jakobi Kendrick, also know as FunSizedJJ or JJ. I'm a professional mix engineer, sound designer & certified PA (Production Assistant). I've been working on audio dramas & other types of media for the past 3+ years!

WHAT DO I DO?

Depends on what you need! I primarily work as a mix engineer and sound designer for audio dramas. If you're unfamiliar with what those are, the simplest explanation I can give you is think of TV shows but for your ears! Just look up "Audio Drama" or search for "Narrative Fiction Podcasts". They are similar to audio books, but instead of just a narrator reading to you, audio dramas employ Voice Actors, SFX & Music combining all of it together to tell a story! If you've ever heard or heard of something called a "Radio Play" or "Radio Show", thats basically what these are! Except these do not play on radios; rather podcast platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, etc. My job is to take all of those Voice recordings, SFX, Music & put it all together to make the final product the listeners will hear. So aside from that I can do a lot of things including but not limited to:

• Dialogue cleaning and mouth-click removal

• Dialogue pacing and timing edits

• Ambient background creation

• Custom sound effect design

• Syncing sound effects to script or video

• Left/right stereo panning

• EQ and volume balancing

• Volume leveling and compression

• Final loudness mastering

• Music mixing (balancing vocals and instruments)

• Music vocal tuning

I can work on / mix / or edit audio for any other form of media as well including: Short Films, Animation, Music, etc, you name it!

General Demo (2026)

I have 3 different portfolios.

• My "Audio Drama" portfolio, the primary one that is on this page, which contains all of my files and links from/to all of my projects that classify as an Audio Drama, Fiction Podcast, etc.

• My "Animation/Tv" portfolio, which is a video gallery containing all the Animated, TV, and Movie type projects I have worked on.

• My "VA" portfolio that contains all audio of my voice acting work.

The other 2 can viewed using the buttons bellow.

Released Projects | Each project has a button that will take you to their respective hosting site.

^{These are all of the projects I have worked on that are currently released on major platforms.}

"5 Soundscapes" Project

^{These are 5 short stories I wrote, directed, etc when I was first starting out. I didn't have enough projects for a portfolio so I decided why not make my own to show off my editing skills instead. They are old projects so take em with a grain a salt.}

Archived/Unreleased Projects

^{Playlists with (Archived) are due to either me leaving the project, the project died, or the project has reached a certain age and is no longer shown in the "Released" section.
Playlists with (Unreleased) are finished projects that merely were not released by the creator for one reason or another.}
