A storyteller, composer, sound designer, orchestrator, Edmundo Lobo Kuri specializes in the telling of stories through music, be it orchestral, cultural, or modern.
Beginning as a guitarist in the Tampa Bay Area, Edmundo spent years as a performer playing all genres of music for different venues. Growing up as a musician in church and later diversifying his abilities, he has played stages ranging from the smallest cafes to the original Woodstock grounds for the Catbird festival.
In 2021, Edmundo began his study of composition for film, t.v. and video games at the Berklee College of Music and has since had the great pleasure of composing for all forms of visual medium. Winner of the prestigious Alf Clausen award for his orchestral works, Edmundo specializes in carefully crafting music that reflects, not only the stylistic needs of any story, but the cultural flavors necessary to build the world’s requested. Under the patronage of the prestigious program, Mass Digi, Edmundo was tasked with composing music for four Emirati video games, blending the styles of western popular music and traditional musics from the United Arab Emirates.
Edmundo continues to diversify his abilities in scoring, both large and small, painting worlds unique to the needs of his collaborators, always seeking and growing, expressing the inexpressible and filling the gaps where words cannot reach.
