Biography
Hendric Buenck is a Berlin-born composer and producer known for fusing modern rap and hip hop with cinematic soundscapes—shaped by Berlin’s underground music scene, early DJ collaborations and a passion for sonic experimentation. His genre-blending work results in immersive musical compositions layered with emotion and bold innovation across film, television, video games, trailers and global ad campaigns.
His recent credits include composing for the ACURA and Google ad campaigns, the original motion picture soundtrack for Ghosts of Ruin (Battle Island) and the hit video game Arknights (Hypergryph). He also contributed to Max Verstappen: Anatomy of a Champion (Pulse Films). Hendric’s trailer work includes The Woman King (Heavy Duty Music) and Minions: The Rise of Gru (Illumination), for which he earned a 2023 Clio Bronze Award.
Other credits include work on popular games Momoguro: Momo Quest (Roblox) and Minecraft LoFi: Laid Back Lutes. He scored the Swedish comedy SUEDI, composed the BBC Launch Campaign (TV Spot) and contributed original music to Binny und der Geist (Disney Germany).
