Biography

Eduardo Diez is a Colombian composer and orchestrator based in Los Angeles, working across film and TV. He has collaborated with notable composers such as John Powell, Mark Mancina, and Batu Sener on projects like The Ice Age: Adventures with Buck WildEncantoMoana 2, and An Englishman, an Irishman, and a Frenchman. He has also composed and orchestrated music for performances by the Houston and Miami Ballet.

For two years, Eduardo served as Dominic Lewis' assistant, gaining experience on projects including Bullet TrainBaymax!KaleidoscopeSpiritedViolent Night, and Monsters at Work. Additionally, he collaborated with Daniel Futcher, Lewis' longtime collaborator, on My Adventures with Superman and The Bad Guys.

Eduardo attended the conservatory in his hometown of Medellín, Colombia, before earning his bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music, where he studied Jazz Composition and Film Scoring. He later graduated from the USC Screen Scoring Program.

Outside of his professional engagements, Eduardo remains an active bass player, performing Latin music and jazz across Los Angeles. He also dedicates time to producing and arranging for artists, running, and taking care of his dog, Bruna.
