Biography

DeWayne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance, a Master’s degree in Theological Studies, and a MFA in Music Composition with an emphasis in scoring for picture and media.

Possessing a quickly adaptable, versatile, and collaborative approach, DeWayne brings over 30 years of experience in composition that has been utilized inside a number of environments from local church music ministries (weekly and special event) to film, public theatres, and beyond.

His work has been performed by symphony orchestras, national touring artists, secondary and college ensembles, and various other groups around the US and in parts of Europe.
