Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Hernan studied Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. In 2018, he relocated to Utrecht, The Netherlands, where he works as a media composer and arranger. His projects include the Dutch horror film Jimmy (available on Amazon Prime) in collaboration with Michiel Marsman, Netflix's iHostage, collaborating with ‘Ziggi’ Zbigniew Wolny, and as a music editor for TV shows Van Der Valk Season 3 and Een Amerikaanse Nachtmerrie, working alongside Matthijs Kieboom.
His music blends guitars, South American instruments (like ronroco and charango), orchestral elements, synthesizers, and sampled sounds to craft distinctive sonic landscapes for each project. Hernan’s work earned nominations for the European Talent Award at Soundtrack Cologne in 2023 & 2024, and in 2024, he received the Young Talent Award at the Krakow Film Music Festival.
