Alex Ky is a film composer based in London. 
Signature Sound: dark, ambient, mysterious and orchestral.

Since a young age, Alex was surrounded by different creative forms. Starting with the violin from the age of 6, she delved into the classical realm, whilst also discovering her love for R&B music, and hip hop dance. As a young composer, she believes her versatile upbringing allows her to explore different genres and styles that are required. 
 
Alex has written for a variety of short films, namely 'The Night I Needed You The
Most' (Malagasy Short Film), 'The Father' (drama short film), as well as
'Shoelace' (BFI Funded short film) which premiered at the BFI premiere at the
Prince Charles Cinema.
She has also recently collaborated with MediaTracks to compose and release tracks for their production library, and is now working on a new film currently in production (info to be released soon).
