Biography
Hi, I’m Kayla! I am a composer from Atlanta, GA. My first instrument was guitar, and since I started playing I have performed in several venues, festivals, and concerts around Atlanta. I have played and recorded with different artists, and as a composer, studied composition at Georgia State University. I studied Media Scoring and Production at the Frost School of Music at University of Miami under Camilo Rodriguez and Carlos Rivera. I received my Master's in Screen Scoring from the University of Southern California. I have written for many different ensembles, such as jazz band, marching band, wind orchestra, concert band, and string ensembles. I have also scored several short films, web series, games, and various visual media.
