Carson Zuck is a film composer and BMI-affiliated artist based in Boston, MA, relocating to Los Angeles. A graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Berklee College of Music, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the Conservatory with an Applied Concentration in Conducting alongside a minor and specialization in extensive Film Scoring coursework. As former Vice President and Treasurer of Berklee's Film Scoring Network, he expanded the organization's reach across five partner institutions, co-produced a film festival and multiple rescore competitions, gave guest lectures at Wesleyan University, Lesley University, MassArt, and Emerson College on composer-filmmaker collaboration, and conducted industry interviews with figures including Eric Whitacre, Geoff Zanelli, Mark Korven, Harry Gregson-Williams, and Dr. Andrew Hill. He will begin a fully funded Master of Fine Arts in Screen Scoring and Music Design on a full-tuition inaugural class scholarship from Harry Gregson-Williams under the direction of Dr. Andrew Hill. His credits span 20+ short films, three features, and animation collaborations that have collectively surpassed one million views on social media.
Carson's scoring philosophy is rooted in the principle of scoring from "inside" the film; the idea that a score must emerge organically from a film's own emotional and narrative logic rather than being imposed upon it. His work spans drama, horror, documentary, and animation, and he brings a collaborative, craft-driven approach to every project.
