Carson Zuck is a US-based film composer and graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Berklee College of Music (BM' 26). His work has supported more than twenty short films and two features, with collaborators from Marvel, DreamWorks, Netflix, and beyond, collectively reaching over one million views across social platforms. Carson serves as Vice President and Treasurer of Berklee’s Film Scoring Network, the largest, oldest, and most extensive student-run organizations at Berklee, and works as the A1 live sound student engineer for the Boston Conservatory’s Audio-Visual Department.
Carson approaches scoring for film as a medium of narrative truth and prioritization rather than decoration. His recent scores explore data-driven musical storytelling, including sonifying eviction statistics for a documentary with Settled. and translating bird-collision datasets into music for an environmental short. Carson’s mission is to craft scores that contribute original, indispensable narrative information—and in doing so, elevate the filmmaking experience for both collaborators and audiences. He will move to Los Angeles upon graduation to begin his career across the full spectrum of film music production.
