Qingyao Lin was Born in Shenzhen China. Having received musical education from a young age, she was introduced to vocal performance and embraced piano, guitar, accordion, and music theories from a young age, which have granted her a solid foundation in music. After finishing her undergraduate study of composition at Shenzhen University, she continues to persue her Master's degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games at Berklee Valencia. 

As a composer who embraces diversity and inclusion, Qingyao fuses her music style in composing for visual media, encompassing hybrid orchestral with ethnic music and electronic music. Now she has accumulated experience and won several competitions including SSO Call for Scores 2024 Honorable Mention, Universal Stars Music Competition 2024.
